Now-a-days there is so much information about working out, losing weight, training etc etc. It’s very easy to get information overload. But I want to let you in on a little secret to my success. That secret is HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts! You’re welcome 🙂This form of training workouts will help you burn fat, lose weight, and feel better in a much shorter amount of time. These are the types of exercises you see in the famous P90X program. But if you kind of look around you will see that this is how professional gyms and workout courses are setup.

Have you heard of Curves (for women) Cuts (for men)? I haven’t used either one of those facilities but I know they are setup to offer interval training workouts specifically. You jump from station to station in a timed manner. Once you go around to all the stations your workout is done. They setup their business this way because HIIT training workouts work. They work really well.

The whole concept of high intensity interval training workouts is to make your body work faster, harder, in a shorter amount of time. You transition your body from slow workout to fast workout in intervals. Your body works harder with this workout and grabs stored fat cells for fuel during and AFTER your workout. Using High intensity workouts will allow you to burn fat for 36 hours AFTER your workout.

I don’t know about you but if I can workout for 15, 20, or 30 minutes a day and still burn fat after my workout then sign me up! So you can stop running on the treadmill (at one speed) for an hour. Yes you will see results with that type of exercise. But my recommendation is to stick to HIIT training workouts and mix in long slow cardio after you have lost some weight.
