I don’t know about you but I am extremely happy Halloween is over. We bought several bags of candy and had it a few days before Halloween. Guess what we did all week before Halloween? Yep, ate and ate and ate candy lol.
How many of you did this as well? Leave a comment below if you ate your Halloween candy before Halloween. Or worse you still have some left over and are still snacking on it.
I came home yesterday and found myself looking for something sweet. I mentioned it to my wife and she said she was looking for something sweet at work too. This is proof that what we put in our body is what we crave.
So how do you avoid this problem? GET IT OUT OF THE HOUSE IMMEDIATELY :-). Get away from the temptation. I don’t know about you, but my weakness is Reese’s Cups or probably anything peanut butter and chocolate really. Make sure you get rid of the candy around you that is still lingering around at work too.
Actually this doesn’t work just with candy. Look around. If you don’t have anything healthy around you to snack on, throw that stuff out and place the stuff in arms reach with something healthy.
Replace that sweet tooth with some fruits. Choose:
- An apple
- Chopped pineapple
- Anything fruit wise
Replace that bad candy sugar with some natural sugar.
Trust me it will benefit you in the long run. We had fun eating the candy for a few days now it’s time to get back to eating better.
Also drink a lot of water to flush your system out. You know that chocolate will break some of your guys’ skin out. So keep an acne free face by flushing your system regularly with water.
Next holiday is Thanksgiving and we all know we all pig out on that day. That is ok. Just make sure you eat healthy and exercise the few days before and the few days after. This is how you can survive this holiday season with all of the good food and snacks that will be circling around.
